Audio Physic Sitara reviewed in Son & Image Vol. 10/5.
Sitara uses two Wavecor 5” woofers/midwoofers.
Parts of the review conclusions are shown below.

“VERDICT
Competence, assurance and ease are the three words that kept coming back to me during the time I spent listening casually or intently to music through the Sitaras. With these speakers I always felt confident that any track I chose would be a musical experience unmarred by exaggeration or distortion anywhere in the frequency band. I started the listening session convinced that sooner or later the 5.9 inch drivers would call attention to themselves by a resonance in the highs, but I gave up my search, because in addition to the leitmotif of “No loss of fine detail” it should be added “No addition of artificial detail.” If you are looking for speakers that combine holographic imaging, excellent tonal balance, dynamics, emotion, all presented in top-notch cabinetwork, then have a good look and listen to the Sitara. . . . . .”

Eastern Electronics’ Norge Nano bookshelf speaker reviewed in AV Max magazine June 2009. The Nano uses a Wavecor WF110 mid/woofer for bass and midrange.

“. . . .  . . . . .For some mid-range testing we dropped in Prince’s ‘Musicology’ skipping over the last track ‘Reflection’. We have to say, the snare during this track was mind-numbingly strong, forcing us to groove to the track’s contemplation. Prince’s voice was beautifully spaced out, and it seemed the space we had between the speakers which we initially thought might be too much for the Nanos to handle, came out to be something these little speakers love. That’s the biggest difference between the Nanos and any ordinary mini-speaker system: The depth . . . . . . . “

Eastern Electronics is there again with one more smashing review of their small Norge 75 bookshelf speaker using all-Wavecor drivers.
Norge 75 bookshelf speaker from Eastern Electronics reviewed in the May 2008 issue of AV MAX magazine.
The Norge 75 uses Wavecor drive units exclusively: The TW030WA01 30mm tweeter and the WF138WA02 5.5” mid/woofer.

......”Little Master”....
........”The same expression was consistent as we cruised to the entire album with the Wavecor drivers operating to their fullest and optimum. To come out of the adrenaline rush and calm ourselves we played a rather mellow song “Jamiacan Fairwell” by Harry Belafonte from the album ‘The Essentials Of Harry Belafonte’.Though a very mellow composition, the track bears strong emotional appeal as Harry talks about the girl he had to leave in Kingston town and about the town itself.
The MD 75 was able to again provide us with a very flat and neutral frequency response, as the highs were very effervescent, the bass gave that thump and the mids were exciting”...................

The High End 2008 audio show in Munich Germany from April 24 to 27, 2008 was a great success for Wavecor.
As a first time participant at the High End 2008 Show in Munich Germany, Wavecor took the scene with storm when exhibiting there together with our main distributor for Central Europe, Cattaneo Acoustics.
The show visitors, professional and personal alike, obviously welcome a new high end driver manufacturer as an alternative to the established part of the business. Wavecor’s high-end approach with keeping reasonable prices clearly hit an empty space in the market.
Wavecor used the opportunity to launch several new driver at the show. A new 30mm tweeter with below-450Hz resonance frequency attracted huge attention and although not in production yet (deliveries start end of May) we received several enquiries and orders during the show.
The new competitive line of mid/woofers (4.5”, 5.75”, and 6.5”) drew special interest from manufactures. The new mid/woofers are in production since late April.

Wavecor wish to thank everybody that visited us during the show and for making this a very inspiring event for us!

Audio Physic Virgo V does it again: A tremendously positive review - of course still using the special custom designed Wavecor midrange.

........”Far from satisfied with what has been achieved so far, Diestertich again applied his brainpower to the midrange unit, particularly to the mechanical driver design...........This is how the idea was born to provide the midrange driver with a two-basket system where a solid cast basket is used to transmit resonances from the magnet system to the baffle, and where a soft plastic basket holds the surround and the diaphragm, having a damping effect. The goal was to bring together the best of two worlds in a single driver which again required a great deal of persuasion to make it happen. "Can't be done", was the answer Diestertich heard most often until he finally found a driver manufacturer in China [=Wavecor] who took on this Wavecor-midrangetask to Audio Physic’s complete satisfaction. The midrange driver is shown left. With the help of the neodymium magnet it is attached to the cast basket which also features small cooling fins to dissipate the generated heat..........”

Indian high-end manufacturer Eastern Electronics obtains yet another favourable review using Wavecor drivers.
The new Norge 75 bookshelf speaker from Indian manufacturer Eastern Electronics was review by Tech2.com India on Feb. 18, 2008 with positive results. Especially considering how affordable the Norge 75 speakers are.
The Norge 75 uses Wavecor drive units exclusively: The TW030WA01 30mm tweeter and the WF138WA02 5.5” mid/woofer.

........”I listened to Sarah McLachlan, Patricia Barber and Jamiroquai; in addition to the pristine recordings from the test discs. What I inferred was a wide and open soundstage; the sort of stuff that appeals to a mature audience. Thump was not there, though low bass frequencies were present, and sounded nice..................

Conclusion
At a price of Rs 8500, the speakers offer bang for the buck. If you're not a perfectionist, the flaws mentioned can be ignored, as the good points outweigh the bad. The design could have been better, it's true, but then true audio quality has nothing to do with looks............”
